The Government of Alberta is providing farmers with an opportunity to get involved and help transform agricultural research to ensure Alberta farmers are getting the best results for their investment.
Throughout January, a series of public engagement sessions will be held in Alberta communities to receive input on farmer-led research priorities and opportunities for industry participation, including the exploration and evaluation of governance models that deliver this research.
As part of UFA’s ongoing commitment to the industry, Board Delegates Jim Bettcher, Brent Christensen, Rebecca King, Mark Sayers, Nico Van der Giessen and Brian Wittal will be attending these sessions to advocate on our members’ behalf.
We encourage all members interested in participating to register for an upcoming session in Calgary, Camrose, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Olds, Oyen and Vermilion.
