Store Manager

Position Summary:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Influence the results, including sales and profit
  • Lead a high-performance team that delivers on the operational efficiency targets. Manage all areas of the facility to ensure business is set up for sustainable financial growth
  • Determine your store’s inventory to ensure high levels of accuracy and minimal losses, while meeting the buying needs of the community
  • Be actively involved and connect with the store’s local community
  • Be part of a Co-operative with more than 100 years of proven success and continuously named a Top 80 Employer in Alberta

Required Qualifications:

  • Results oriented with a track record of using accountability and performance metrics to drive the right behaviour and business outcomes in either themselves or people reporting to them.
  • 5+ years of operational experience in a leadership role in a customer service and operational excellent centered organization.
  • Strong salesmanship skills with a customer focus and the capability to coach and develop direct reports to successful outcomes.
  • Successfully used change management practices to ensure that changes remain in place and benefits were realized.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take a leadership role within the area.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), SAP, point-of-sale systems in a retail environment
