Precision Blended Premium Diesel Fuel now available at 17 Petroleum Agencies Across Alberta
June 4, 2019—Calgary, AB— United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Ltd. (UFA) understands the demands of today’s high-performance engines and is pleased to announce that Dieselex® Gold is available at 17 UFA Petroleum locations across the province.
Last year, UFA signed a partnership agreement with GROWMARK Inc. to bring its membership this new premium bulk fuel offering.
Dieselex® Gold is a premium diesel fuel that cleans injectors for better fuel efficiency, assists with faster engine starts, prevents internal injector deposits all while extending fuel storage life and protecting the fuel system components.

UFA launched Dieselex® Gold in a phased rollout that began in southern Alberta this time last year. The first sites commissioned were High River and Cardston. Over the course of the year, more sights were commissioned and today there are 17 sites offering the product. Most recently, Grande Prairie North, Fairview, Vegreville, Camrose and Vulcan were added to the list. Smith said that it is UFA’s intention to continue to expand into more locations across the province.

Dieselex® Gold, developed in 1952, contains a combination of cetane improver, detergency, lubricity improver, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, demulsifiers, stabilizing agents and moisture control chemistry which addresses problems specific to diesel fuel. Variable fuels and HPCR technology require a different chemistry which has been created in the reformulated version of the fuel.
