As one of the oldest and largest co-operatives in Canada, we believe that in order to be part of the present and future, we need to honour our past. We believe in paying homage to those who have dedicated themselves to service and who have sacrificed for our freedoms.
The poppy is the national emblem of supreme sacrifice and this Remembrance Day we would like to see everyone in our rural communities wearing a poppy. We encourage the team at UFA to reach out to their local Legion Branches and invite them to bring their Poppy Campaign into their Farm and Ranch Supply stores.
We know there is strength in numbers, and we are proud to support Remembrance Day initiatives across the province. At 11:00 am on November 11, two minutes of silence will be observed across the network in reverence for all those who have, and who continue to, dedicate themselves to service. At UFA we believe the dream of peace is only realized when we pause to remember.
