Through our Grassroots Giving Program, we support strong and vibrant rural communities where our members live and work. In 2017 we provided almost half a million dollars to fund more than 400 initiatives in 180 local communities. With such a high volume of sponsorship requests and activations each year, organization and efficiency are of the utmost importance to ensure our community investment program is successfully serving our members and the organizations that matter to them. As part of our revitalized approach to Community Investment we are proud to introduce Benevity as our new grant management software provider.
Benevity is a global leader in workplace giving and integrated grant management solutions, committed to connecting people to causes that matter to them. Benevity offers a variety of products focused around employee giving, workplace giving and matching, volunteering, grant management and fundraising to an impressive list of clients including Google, Microsoft and Nike.
- A new streamlined application form that will save applicants time and effort while applying to UFA for support.
- A streamlined registration system that makes receiving payments simple and quick for our partners.
- A fully customizable grant management system that will improve efficiency in managing high volumes of requests and reduce response times.

In order to apply for support from UFA, applicants must be registered in the Benevity Causes Portal. For help, please view the registration guide.
Local organizations not listed in the Causes Portal will need to complete a Charity Support Request.
