To prevent rust and corrosion, the black phosphate finish absorbs and retains oil, repelling moisture. 12-point opening is suitable for double hex (12-sided), hex and square fasteners, can grab fasteners quickly at multiple angles. To prevent round-off under stress, it grips the flat sides of fastener heads instead of the corners.
