WHO WE ARE

Founded in 1909, UFA is one of Canada’s larges​t and most dynamic co-operatives and has grown from a small-scale local co-operative into an extensive retail operation with over 110,000 members. Our businesses include agriculture, petroleum, construction and outdoor adventure.

We are a progressive and diversified business that provides the products, services and solutions our owners and customers in rural communities need to successfully run their operations.

Although we have grown and changed over the years, at our heart we remain committed to rural life. That commitment inspires everything we do and is reflected in our vision, mission and values.

MISSION STATEMENT​

To accomplish this, we will:

  • Unite our customers, member/owners, staff, and elected officials toward balancing our common purpose of improving economic and social well-being of agriculture owners and their communities with sound business decisions that drive profit growth.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan that strives for best-in-class customer experiences, recognizes and quickly adapts to relevant technology and promotes sustainable practices on behalf of and for our member/owners in all markets.
  • Promote and support the establishment of strong, professional business relationships by understanding the needs of our loyal customers/members and providing relevant, worthwhile solutions.​
