Your 4-H club could win $3,000

We want you to show us what it means to 'Stand Out from the Herd'. 4-H is turning 100. 100 years of learning, leading and growing in your community. Get together with your 4-H club and build a project that tells the world about the cool people and moments that make 4-H something you're proud to belong to.

The contest opens October 10, 2016. You and your 4-H club could win one of several cash prizes, including a grand prize of $3,000!

Please remember

Only clubs can enter

The "Standing Out from the Herd" Contest is open to all 4-H Alberta clubs and clubs that are within a 25 km radius of a UFA location only. All entries must be submitted by a 4-H club. Any winnings must go to support the entire club, not an individual.

Winners selected by judging panel

All entries will be judged by a UFA-selected panel during two rounds. During the first round, the panel will narrow down the entries to the top 35. These entries will be eligible for the Grand Prize, Regional Prizes and Honourable Mentions, which will be chosen during the second round of judging. Additionally, a Fan Favourite Award will be selected by popular vote.

Only one prize per winning entry

If an entry is chosen to win any prize, it is no longer eligible for any other prize. If a winning entry is also chosen to win the Fan Favourite Award, the entry will receive the prize with the higher cash value. The judging panel will award the other prize to the entry with the next-best scores.

Original entries only, please
