As one of the oldest co-operatives in Canada, we believe that in order to be part of the present and future, we need to honour our past. We believe in paying homage to those who have dedicated themselves to service and who have sacrificed for our freedoms. We know there is strength in numbers, and we are proud to support Remembrance Day initiatives across the province. As the national emblem of supreme sacrifice we would encourage everyone to wear a poppy. On Remembrance Day at 11 a.m., we also encourage everyone across our co-operative to observe the most sacrosanct and central element in Remembrance, the Two Minutes of Silence. During this time of reflection, Canadians pause to honour, thank and remember our Fallen. By remembering their service and their sacrifice, we recognize the tradition of freedom these men and women fought to preserve. At UFA we believe the dream of peace is only realized when we pause to remember. In reverence, Carol Kitchen President / CEO UFA Co-operative Ltd.
